Nathan van Berlo (born 6 June 1986) is a former Australian rules football player who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted by the club with pick 24 in the 2004 National Draft .
With regular top-ten best and fairest finishes and true leadership qualities, van Berlo was appointed Club captain in 2011 following the retirement of Simon Goodwin. Whether playing as a lead midfielder, tagger or in defence, van Berlo was renowned as a tough tackler.

Nathan van Berlo played for the Adelaide Crows in the AFL. He was the captain of the Crows from 2011 until 2014. Van Berlo has Dutch heritage, and his parents were born in New Zealand.

18 de sept. de 2016 · That’s the legacy former captain and revered leader Nathan van Berlo will leave on the Club after walking off Adelaide Oval for the last time as a Crows player. Van Berlo was applauded from the field by a guard of honour of Adelaide and Sturt players following the Club’s SANFL Preliminary Final loss on Sunday afternoon.
11 de abr. de 2014 · Nathan van Berlo is out of his moon boot and walking again after Achilles surgery. Van Berlo, 27, ruptured his Achilles tendon in a freak training accident in January. On Thursday, van Berlo had a three-month check-up with his surgeon, who was happy with the Adelaide captain’s progress.
