Waldemar Legień (born 28 August 1963) is a Polish retired judoka. He won two Olympic gold medals in different weight classes, in 1988 and 1992. He is also the first person to win back-to-back two Olympic gold medals in Judo.

Waldemar Legien is one of the most legendary judoka for Poland and one of the few who won two Olympic title. In won in 1988 in Seoul (U78) and 1992 (U86kg) in Barcelona. He collected three World Championships medals was European Champion in 1990.

Since 1993, he has been a coach at the Racing Club de France in Paris. He is the only judoka in history to be a double Olympic champion in two different categories (-78kg and -86kg).
