Marata Niukore (born 29 July 1996) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a second-row, lock and centre for the New Zealand Warriors in the National Rugby League (NRL). He has played for both the Cook Islands and New Zealand at international level.
Marata Niukore is a 27-year-old second rower who plays for the Warriors and the New Zealand Kiwis. He joined the Warriors in 2023 after spending five seasons with the Parramatta Eels, where he made 96 NRL appearances and scored 12 tries.

19 de mar. de 2024 · One New Zealand Warriors head of performance Balin Cupples said Niukore is now into the early running phase of his recovery. He is building into change of direction and skill involvement as he works towards returning to team training in the coming weeks.
10 de nov. de 2021 · The former Parramatta back rower, who played 77 NRL games for the Eels, will join the Vodafone Warriors from 2023. He is a Mangere East Hawks junior and a Junior Kiwi representative who made his debut against the Eels in 2018.
