Kelsey-Lee Barber (née Roberts; born 20 September 1991) is an Australian track and field athlete who competes in the javelin throw. She won gold at the 2019 World Championships, and her personal best of 67.70 m ranks her 13th in the overall list. Barber is based at the Queensland Academy of Sport in Brisbane.

Kelsey-Lee Barber, née Roberts, was born in East London in South Africa on 20 September 1991. At school, there were sports sessions every afternoon, and she did swimming, hockey, tennis and gymnastics – “a bit of everything” as she put it. She was nine when her family moved to Canberra, Australia, in 2000.

The gold is her third straight medal at major events, after gold at Doha 2019 and bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Australia now has three medals — two gold and a bronze — at the Oregon event.
