Ryne Dee Sandberg (born September 18, 1959), nicknamed "Ryno", is an American former professional baseball player, coach, and manager. He played sixteen seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a second baseman for the Philadelphia Phillies (1981) and the Chicago Cubs (1982–1994, 1996–1997).

Ryne Sandberg is a former second baseman and manager for the Chicago Cubs. He played 15 seasons in the majors, won six Gold Gloves, four Silver Sluggers, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005.
Ryne Sandberg was a versatile and powerful second baseman who played for the Phillies and Cubs from 1981 to 1997. He won nine Gold Gloves, led the NL in homers twice, and was a nine-time All-Star and MVP.
