Anthony Gerard Foley ( Limerick, 30 de octubre de 1973 — Suresnes, 16 de octubre de 2016) fue un jugador y entrenador irlandés de rugby que se desempeñó como Número 8 . Biografía. Fue hijo de Brendan Foley y hermano de Rosie Foley, ambos también destacados jugadores de rugby que representaron a sus respectivos seleccionados.
Anthony Gerard Foley (30 October 1973 – 16 October 2016) was an Irish rugby union player and head coach of Munster. He was attached to the same squad during his professional playing career. He was a member of the Munster team that won the 2002–03 Celtic League and was the winning captain during their 2005–06 Heineken Cup success.

16 de oct. de 2016 · PARIS (AP) — From ordinary fans to the president of Ireland, rugby was in mourning Sunday for Munster head coach Anthony Foley, who died overnight at the Irish team’s hotel in Paris ahead of a scheduled European match. Foley, who was 42, also enjoyed a successful club career with Munster as a backrow forward and represented Ireland 62 times.
