Dwight Jason Freeney (born February 18, 1980) is an American former football player who played as a defensive end and linebacker for 16 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Syracuse Orangemen, earning unanimous All-American honors.

14 de feb. de 2023 · Former Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney was one of the greatest pass rushers in franchise history. Freeney’s patented spin move, which he developed during his high school days in Connecticut, helped him rack up double-digit figures in sacks and a combined 23 forced fumbles in his first four NFL seasons alone.
Freeney played 218 regular-season games over 16 NFL seasons, the first 11 with the Colts. He appeared in 22 postseason contests, including three AFC Championship Games and two NFC Championship Games. He won a Super Bowl ring with the Colts and played in two other Super Bowls.
