Guy Périllat Merceroz (born 24 February 1940) is a former World Cup alpine ski racer from the resort of La Clusaz, Haute-Savoie, one of the top ski racers of the 1960s.
Guy Périllat, né le 24 février 1940 à La Clusaz (Haute-Savoie), est un skieur alpin français. Biographie. Périllat (à gauche) sur le podium de la descente des JO 1968 avec Killy et Dätwyler. Il fit partie de la grande génération des skieurs français des années 1960.
In the era before World Cups, Périllat won all the classic downhill races – Wengen, Kitzbühel, Megève, Chamonix, and Saint Moritz. His victories at Wengen and Kitzbühel made him only the third skiier to accomplish that double in the same year, after Toni Sailer (1956-57) and Christian Pravda (1954).
Guy Périllat was a French alpine skier who won two Olympic medals and four World Championship medals in the 1960s. He was a versatile skier who excelled in downhill, slalom, giant slalom and combined events.
