Adam Kingsley was appointed GIANTS AFL head coach following the end of the 2022 season. A former premiership and best and fairest winner with Port Adelaide, where he played 170 games, Kingsley quickly moved into coaching following his playing career, immediately taking up assistant coaching roles with Port Adelaide and then St Kilda.

The long-time deputy, who spent eight seasons with St Kilda between 2011-2018 before moving to Richmond and being part of the Tigers’ 2019 and 2020 premierships, has been named as the Giants’ third ever full time senior coach.

A highly-rated assistant coach since 2007, Kingsley won the race to replace Leon Cameron ahead of interim boss Mark McVeigh and the man viewed as the frontrunner Adem Yze. Kingsley has signed a three-year deal.
