Viktor Chukarin. Ukraine. At age 30, Chukarin dominated the 1952 Olympics in Helsinki. He led the Soviet Union to its first Olympic team title and won golds in the all-around, pommel horse and vault. He also won silvers on rings and parallel bars.

Viktor Chukarin was a Soviet gymnast who won 11 Olympic medals, including two all-around titles, in 1952 and 1956. He was also a World Champion in 1954 and a coach at the L’viv Institute of Physical Culture.
