Scott Donald Pruett (born March 24, 1960) is an American retired racing driver who has competed in numerous disciplines of the sport. In the 1980s, Pruett established himself as a top sports car racer, winning two IMSA GTO, and three Trans-Am championships. Later in his career, he won five Grand-Am championships.

(AP) — Scott Pruett, one of the most prolific American sports car racers in history, will end his 50-year driving career following the Rolex 24 at Daytona this month. He has a record 60 wins in American sports car competition. His five Rolex 24 wins are tied for most with Hurley Haywood.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS. 2015 – Achieved a record-shattering 60th win in IMSA. 2014 – Won three races in the IMSA Prototype class co-driving with Memo Rojas. 2013 – GRAND-AM Daytona Prototype Series with Chip Ganassi Racing: First place Owner's Championship, Driver's Championship runner up.
