Samantha Elizabeth Giles (born 2 July 1971) is an English actress and author. She is known for portraying the role of Bernice Blackstock in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale. She had also portrayed Sally Boothe in the ITV drama series Where the Heart Is and Valerie Holden in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks.
Samantha Giles was born on 2 July 1971 in Maidstone, Kent, England, UK. She is an actress, known for Emmerdale Farm (1972), Where the Heart Is (1997) and Coronation Street (1960). She is married to Sean Pritchard.

Biography - Samantha Giles. I was born in Maidstone, Kent and always knew from a very young age that I wanted to be an actor. I had my moments of doubt, like everyone does, when I thought it was an impossible dream, and initially started out trying to make it in the world of children’s tv presenting.
