Pearl Hackney (28 October 1916 – 18 September 2009) was a British actress and the wife of comic actor Eric Barker. She was born in Burton upon Trent , Staffordshire , but spent much of her early life in Liverpool , Lancashire (now Merseyside ).

Pearl Hackney (born 28th October 1916 in Burton-on-Trent, died 18th September 2009 in Herne Bay, Kent) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly between April and May 1973 as Ethel Bostock, the outgoing Mayoress of Weatherfield; and she returned to the programme in March 1978 and August 1980 as Daisy Hibbert, mother of Renee Roberts .
