From a beautiful and talented cellist, whose resume includes Rasputina and Antony and the Johnsons, Green and Grey is Julia Kent's lovely sophomore album. Primarily voiced for solo cello (with some looped accompaniment), her compositions are impressionistic, pretty, and meditative, like Vaughan Williams at his most contemplative and pastoral.
