Creighton Doane is a Canadian drummer and songwriter, best known as a longtime member of the rock band Harem Scarem. The son of music educator J. Chalmers Doane and the brother of singer-songwriter Melanie Doane, his first significant musical project was as the drummer in The October Game, a local Halifax band fronted by Sarah McLachlan.
The second album under the Rubber name, Ultra Feel, featured their new drummer Creighton Doane (brother of Melanie Doane) replacing Darren Smith. Smith briefly switched to guitar and joined Helix as a touring musician.

Creighton Doane. Music Department: Ukulele U. Composer / music producer for TV, Film and Theatre. He has been nominated for CCMA, ECMA, CSA and Dora awards. In 2022, Creighton co-wrote and produced the songs & music for CBC kid's Ukulele U with sister Melanie Doane and legendary music producer Bob Ezrin.
