The Yale School of Art application for the 2024–2025 academic year will be available October 2023. The information that follows will assist you in filing the application online. For an explanation of specific requirements for each area of study, please refer to the departmental sections that follow.
Use Yale’s Multifactor Authentication (MFA) Service. Duo MFA, also referred to as Duo Everywhere, adds a second layer of protection to our accounts both on- and off-campus. This includes logging in via Yale’s Central Authentication Service (CAS) and using Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Program overview. Instruction in the program is rooted in the investigation of painting as a unique genre with its own complex syntax and history. Within this setting, the program encourages diversity of practice and interpretation, innovation, and experimentation. Approximately twenty-one students are admitted each year.
