19 de may. de 2017 · "You Dream Flat Tires" is an overly busy little rocker, dominated by Michael Landau's shrieking guitar, Klein's syncopated bass groove, and Mitchell's metaphor of love as a fast car, which her paramour seems to wish to take off the road for a while.
While there's truth in that early assessment, Mitchell's new songs still bear the stamp of her more recent experiments with jazz instrumentation and vocal stylization, elevating "Wild Things Run Fast" beyond the cynical prospect of mere commercial retrenchment.
