Furthur is a 1939 school bus bought by author Ken Kesey in 1964 to travel across the US with his Merry Pranksters, a counterculture group. The bus was painted with psychedelic designs, featured in Tom Wolfe's book The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, and later became a Woodstock venue.
Furthur was an American rock band founded in 2009 by former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Phil Lesh. The band performed improvisational jam sessions based on the Grateful Dead songbook and other artists, and toured the US until 2014.
