Avonlea, also known as Road to Avonlea, is a TV series that follows the adventures of Sara Stanley, a young girl sent to live with her relatives in Prince Edward Island in the early 1900s. The series features a large ensemble cast, including Sarah Polley, Jackie Burroughs, Cedric Smith, and Zachary Bennett, and won four Primetime Emmys.
Sara Stanley, the privileged daughter of a wealthy Montreal merchant, is suddenly sent to live with her deceased mother’s relatives in the town of Avonlea, Prince Edward Island. Executive Producers Kevin Sullivan & Trudy Grant.
