In 1980, Doroschuk restarted Men Without Hats, giving the name to a new synthesizer-based group that he formed with Jérémie Arrobas (vocals, keyboards) and his brothers Stefan Doroschuk (bass) and Colin Doroschuk (guitar). Influences on this electronic outfit included Gary Numan, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) and Ultravox.

12 de mar. de 2022 · Colin Doroschuk, the brother of lead singer Ivan Doroschuk, rejoined Men Without Hats in 2016 and helped the group release a new album in 2022. The band, known for hits like The Safety Dance and Pop Goes the World, is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a world tour.
Led by original founding members Ivan and Colin Doroschuk, Men Without Hats have been rounded out since 2016 by industry veteran Sho Murray, and augmented on this record by Colin’s daughter, soprano Sahara Sloan.

Their musical inspiration derived from the disco craze and punk movement of the late 1970s.
