The Del Fuegos were an American 1980s garage -style rock band. Formed in 1980, the Boston, Massachusetts, United States-based band gained success in 1986 with their songs "Don't Run Wild" and "I Still Want You" and appearing in a widely seen television commercial for Miller Beer.

Bespectacled buddies, Brent "Woody" Giessmann (drums), Bill Goffrier (guitar, backing vocals) and John Nichols (vocals, organ) all grew up together in the same apartment complex in Wichita. They played in sandboxes together (working out their sub-conscious Brian Wilson fixations) and began writing songs while still in grade school.

The Embarrassment formed in Wichita, Kansas in 1979. The group consisted of John Nichols - vocals, organ; Bill Goffrier, vocals, guitar; Brent "Woody" Giessmann, drums; Ronnie Klaus, bass (aka "Captain Ron" circa 2006).
The band consisted of guitarist Bill Goffrier, lead singer and organist John Nichols, bassist Ron Klaus, and drummer Brent Giessmann. After the band broke up, Giessmann played for the Del Fuegos and Goffrier formed Big Dipper .
