Bachelor of Arts in Law (BA (Law)), Bachelor of Laws (LLB) With the advent of the Revolutionary Council after 1962, a Committee to reform legal education was established, and significant reforms were accomplished by the Higher Education Law of 1964. After 1964, the law course at the University of Yangon became a fulltime course.
The undergraduate programmes are subdivided into three categories: Arts (B.A.), Sciences (B.Sc.), and Law(LL.B). The choice of different fields of learning takes place in upper secondary school where students choose particular subjects directed towards their tertiary education.
Majors. From Accounting to World Religions, it's safe to say that between our nine undergraduate colleges and 250+ programs, there's a major for everyone. While most undergrad programs at the Athens campus are designed to be completed in four years, there are also some two-year degree programs.

Rangoon (Yangon) College was founded as an affiliation of Calcutta University (CU), India in 1884-1885. British Government passed the University of Rangoon Act in 1920 through which the University of Rangoon was founded and has come into existence.
Htin Aung graduated from Yangon's elite St. Paul's English High School. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Laws from Cambridge University, a Bachelor in Civil Law from Oxford University, a Master of Laws from the University of London, and doctorates in Anthropology and Literature from Trinity College, Dublin.
