User Reviews. Initially, I thought it was slow and surface, but as it played on, I realized how interesting it was as another take on the times and the AIDS epidemic. In the end, the story rang quite true to me. The lifestyle was a poignant depiction of how young urban gay men lived in many cities across the country.
