10 de ago. de 2020 · It's a common Western superstition that things happen in sets of three. If the same thing happens twice in a short time, it is believed that it must happen soon for a third time.
In French, there is the expression "jamais deux sans trois" (literally: "never twice without a third [time]"). We use it to express that something which has already happened twice is likely to happen again.
