Angie Barrack joined the band on saxophone soon after. As LiLiPUT, the band released two further singles, "Eisiger Wind" (1980) and "Split" (1981), both of which became hits on the UK Independent Singles Chart , the former after being reissued by Rough Trade in 1981.

6 de ene. de 2017 · The band’s lineup was constantly in flux; these songs also feature saxophonist Angie Barrack and vocalists Regula Sing and Chrigle Freund. The reissue’s title is clever; if these 24 tracks are all indeed songs, then Kleenex was reimagining what a song could be.
17 de may. de 2024 · Shortly after the rebrand, the group recruited Angie Barrack as a saxophonist, which proved to be the final piece of the puzzle for the group. With this added instrument, the band constructed some of their greatest material, such as ‘Die Matrosen’ or ‘Split’, which were released ahead of their first full-length LP in 1982.
