Dr. Stiglitz is co-author with Linda Bilmes of “The Three Trillion Dollar War: the True Cost of the Iraq Conflict,” just published by Norton. It’s an extremely timely and important book on the economics of this war. It tries to gauge the full costs to the U.S. of the prosecution of this war and goes well beyond the official statistics.
