In September 2023, R.E. Mountain replaced Killarney Secondary School as the largest high school in British Columbia by enrollment. R.E. Mountain Secondary is a public high school in northern Langley, British Columbia and is a part of School District 35 Langley.
R.E. Mountain Secondary School – Langley Retired Teachers Association. Planning and construction for “Willoughby” Secondary began in late 1975/early 1976, based on the Phillips-Barrett plan used previously for D. W. Poppy and Brookswood Schools in Langley. The final completion was in February, 1977.
