Pangbourne is special: we are a small, independent boarding and day school with a unique history and a bright future. Our small size allows us to get to know each student individually, ensuring that they are supported as they grow academically and socially.
Pangbourne College is a co-educational private day and boarding school located in Pangbourne, Berkshire. It is set in 230 acres, on a hill south-west of the village, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Established in 1917, Pangbourne College has a wonderful history to celebrate and many unique traditions to be proud of. Sir Thomas Lane Devitt founded Pangbourne College as ‘The Nautical College, Pangbourne’ with a vision to train boys to become Merchant Navy officers.
