Gary Duncan, one of the two lead guitarists and singers of the psychedelic-era San Francisco band Quicksilver Messenger Service, passed away in 2019. He was a founding member of the group, which performed at the Monterey Pop Festival and released several albums, and later formed new lineups of Quicksilver.
