Mike Auldridge (30 de diciembre de 1938 - 29 de diciembre de 2012) fue un guitarrista estadounidense, especialista en Dobro, miembro fundador del grupo de bluegrass The Seldom Scene.
Mike Auldridge (December 30, 1938 – December 29, 2012) was an American Dobro player and a founding member of the bluegrass group The Seldom Scene. The New York Times described Auldridge as "one of the most distinctive dobro players in the history of country and bluegrass music while widening its popularity among urban audiences". [1]
5 de nov. de 2020 · The subject of my next two posts is Mike Auldridge, best known as the long-time dobroist with the Seldom Scene. (The term “Dobro” is a trademark now owned by Gibson. The generic name is “resonator guitar.” During his career Mike played Dobros as well as resonator guitars made by other builders.)
