Sequel to Drum-Taps: When Lilacs Last in the Dooryard Bloom'd and other poems is a collection of eighteen poems written and published by American poet Walt Whitman in 1865. Most of the poems in the collection reflect on the American Civil War (1861–1865), including the elegies "When Lilacs Last in the Dooryard Bloom'd" and "O Captain!

The Sequel gathered together eighteen poems in a twenty-four-page booklet, which was bound into some of the copies of Drum-Taps and included some of Whitman's most recognizable poetry: "When Lilacs Last in the Dooryard Bloom'd," "O Captain!
Sequel to Drum-Taps, published in the fall of 1865 (the title page reads 1865–66), includes “Pioneers! O Pioneers!” and Whitman’s poems on the death of Abraham Lincoln, “O Captain! My Captain!” and the elegy “When Lilacs Last in the Dooryard Bloom’d.”
