Jason Lader is an American record producer, audio engineer, and mixer from New York. He is also known for playing bass guitar, keyboards, piano, guitar, and as a programmer. He was a member of the band Furslide, and has since worked with Howard Benson, Raine Maida, and Rick Rubin, among others.
Jason is a twice Grammy nominated New York raised Los Angeles based record producer, engineer, multi-instrumentalist and composer. He began playing guitar at the age of 10. His guitar teacher in high school, Roger Greenawalt, was also a record producer.

Lewis, Rice, Jason Lader, and Dave Scher produced the album. Acid Tongue features musical styles ranging from indie rock to alternative country and Americana. Acid Tongue was released to generally favorable reviews from contemporary music critics, receiving praise for Lewis' lyrics and vocals.
The album was produced by the band with Jason Lader and Mike Elizondo. The first single to be released from the album was "The Moneymaker". The second single was "Silver Lining". Several tracks from Blacklight were leaked in advance of the album's official release date.
