Die Krupps. A German post punk/industrial/EBM/metal band formed in Düsseldorf in October 1980 by Jürgen Engler and Bernward Malaka who had played together in Germany´s alledged first punk band Male.
Christoph „Nook“ Michelfeit begann als Zwölfjähriger mit dem Schlagzeugspiel an einer Musikschule in Fulda. Nach den ersten drei Jahren dort bildete er sich autodidaktisch weiter und nahm gelegentlich Stunden bei einem klassischen Schlagwerker.
