Michael Edward Mills (born December 17, 1958) is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer, and composer who was a founding member of the alternative rock band R.E.M. Though known primarily as the bass guitarist and backing vocalist of R.E.M., his musical repertoire also includes keyboards, guitar and occasional lead vocals.
I Am Easy to Find is the eighth studio album by American indie rock band The National, released on May 17, 2019, via 4AD. The follow-up to the band's 2017 album, Sleep Well Beast, it was supported by the lead single, "You Had Your Soul with You", and accompanied by a short film of the same name, directed by Mike Mills and starring Alicia Vikander.
30 de sept. de 2022 · A newly-crafted symphonic version of that piece — featuring Mills on bass and McDuffie on violin — makes its debut Friday and Saturday in performances at Symphony Hall with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Sarah Hicks. They will be aided by Athens guitarists John Neff and William Tonks, and Atlanta drummer Gerry Hansen.
