The Conservatory, which has trained many artists and scientists who have made a name for themselves both in the national and international arena, is the source of all art institutions in our country, as well as other official and private art societies.
The Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory (Turkish: Hacettepe Üniversitesi Ankara Devlet Konservatuvarı), the first conservatory to be founded in the Republic of Turkey, was established in 1936 by a directive of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The conservatory is part of Hacettepe University.
Hacettepe University, Ankara State Conservatory, Divison of Theatre, has trained a large number of artists until today and it is the feeding source for many establishments of arts in our country.
