2 de nov. de 2021 · After a truly remarkable life, Alvin “Seeco” Patterson, percussionist for Bob Marley and the Wailers, passed away yesterday (November 1, 2021) in Kingston at age 90. Although known to the world as “ Seeco ”, he was in fact born Francisco Willie, in Havana, Cuba, on December 30, 1930 to a Jamaican father and Panamanian mother.

He took Alvin Patterson as a stage name, and acquired the nickname “ Seeco ” as a bastardisation of his birth name Francisco.
