Eric Harris Davidson (April 13, 1937 – September 1, 2015) was an American developmental biologist at the California Institute of Technology.
Eric H. Davidson was a pioneer of gene regulatory networks and evolutionary developmental biology. He sequenced and studied the purple sea urchin genome and created a computational model of its gene circuits.
Eric Davidson is a biogeochemist who studies the exchange of nutrients and greenhouse gases between land, water, and atmosphere. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Geophysical Union, and the author of Science for a Green New Deal.
