Ballroom Stories is a studio album by Waldeck released in 2007. Ballroom Stories is the first album that included collaboration with Austrian musician Zeebee. The album features a more trip hop-oriented sound than his previous albums.
After a long break Viennese producer Waldeck is back with his new album "Ballroom Stories". Lose the spliff, get off the sofa and twirl your feet on the polished dancefloors of the ballrooms and speakeasies of the late 1920s, because that is where Waldeck has taken us.
Waldeck's early releases explored contemporary downtempo and trip hop trends. Ballroom Stories, his greatest commercial success, has become the prototype of electro swing, while his recent releases have increasingly featured analogue sounds with a cinematographic mood. Most of Waldeck's songs convey genre ambitions and a serene attitude.
