Andrew Lau Wai-keung (Chinese: 劉偉強, born 4 April 1960) is a Hong Kong film director, producer, and cinematographer. Lau began his career in the 1980s and 1990s, serving as a cinematographer to filmmakers such as Ringo Lam, Wong Jing and Wong Kar-wai.
Andrew Lau is a Hong Kong filmmaker who has worked as a cinematographer, director and producer on various genres of films. He is best known for his collaborations with Alan Mak and Felix Chong, such as Infernal Affairs, Initial D and Confessions of Pain.
