Robert Wolfe Quine (December 30, 1942 – May 31, 2004) was an American guitarist. A native of Akron, Ohio, Quine worked with a wide range of musicians, though he himself remained relatively unknown.
1 de sept. de 2016 · Quine saw the Velvets quite often, and when Lou was in the mood, he could unleash the most amazing leads I've ever heard. The only studio example we have is "I Heard Her Call My Name". Quine, on the other hand, can be heard doing his thing on lots of records (thanks for the discography, ralphb).

Bob Quine, best known to PUNK Magazine readers as the guitar player for Richard Hell and the Voidoids (and their signature song "Blank Generation"), died over the Memorial Day weekend. His wife Alice passed away last August. Apparently Bob never recovered from this sudden tragedy.
18 de mar. de 2015 · Late in his career, he applied his menacing twanging for free to a couple of tracks on a 2001 album by the sleazy juke joint legend Andre Williams, Bait & Switch. He knew Williams couldn’t afford him, but Quine thought him a genius.
