27 de may. de 2011 · Jimmy Pitman joined the Strawberry Alarm Clock for the recording of “Good Morning Starshine,” a star-crossed album in several respects. “I engulfed myself in a bit of rock ‘n’ roll fame,” Pitman said today, using a most appropriate verb.
Drummer Marty Katon then came aboard, along with new lead singer/guitarist Jimmy Pitman (formerly of the Nightcrawlers), and the band shifted to a more blues rock style. King moved over to bass, as he had been playing many of the bass parts in the studio anyway.

12 de dic. de 2019 · The core group entered the studio once again in 1969, with the addition of guitarist/vocalist Jimmy Pitman, to work on their next record, Good Morning Starshine. The songs on their fourth album were more blues and rock-based, with a heavier, less psychedelic sound.
