Heiko Maile, Oliver Kreyssig y Marcus Meyn formaron el grupo "Licenced Technology" en 1983, cambiando luego su nombre a "Camouflage", el cual está inspirado en una canción de Yellow Magic Orchestra, que posee el mismo nombre. La primera aparición en vivo tuvo lugar en 1984, y un año después grabaron dos demos en casetes.
Heiko Maile (born 12 January 1966) is a German musician and composer. He is best known as a member of the band Camouflage and as the composer for the score of the films The Wave and We Are the Night and won the Deutscher Fernsehpreis for best music in 2017.

11 de sept. de 2015 · Heiko Maile (teclados, programador, productor), Oliver Kreyssig (programador, coros) y Marcus Meyn (voces, sintetizador) dieron sus primeros pasos en Alemania bajo el nombre Lizenced Technology. Al poco tiempo tiempo adoptaron el nombre que los marcaría para siempre.
