Combichrist's first LP The Joy of Gunz was released in 2003. Sporting a fresh, original and aggressive new sound the brainchild of LaPlegua took the crowds by storm. On Halloween of the same year, the limited edition EP Kiss The Blade was released with 667 pressings which sold out in less than a week.

En Halloween de 2003 se lanza el EP Kiss The Blade, el cual se vende por completo en semanas. En el 2004, el segundo EP Sex, Drogen Und Industrial, se mantiene 7 semanas en el número uno de DAC charts. Al mismo tiempo se lanza una versión en vinilo blanco 12" que también se vendió rápidamente.
