Backstreet Symphony is the debut studio album by English hard rock band Thunder. Recorded in 1989 at Great Linford Manor Studios in Milton Keynes, it was produced by former Duran Duran and The Power Station guitarist Andy Taylor, then mixed by Mike Fraser at AIR Studios in London.

About the album. With producer Andy Taylor, the album features many blues-rock and atmospheric ballads, that became a success in the UK helped by an appearance at the 1990 Monsters of Rock festival at Donington Park. Included are two songs co-written by Taylor, who also performed 12-string guitar on "Until My Dying Day".
27 de feb. de 2024 · The UK finally took real notice of Taylor’s rock credentials in the 90s, however, when he produced Thunder’s critically acclaimed 1990 debut album Backstreet Symphony, and also 1991 follow-up Laughing On Judgement Day.
Backstret Symphony es un disco debut de aquellos que marcan al grupo, con todo lo bueno y malo que ello con lleva. Un ejercicio perfecto de elegante Hard Rock melódico, que rezuma buen hacer, clase y mucha calidad. Influencias muy bien asimiladas de Bad Company, Whitesnake, Led Zeppelin y todas las grandes bandas británicas que podáis imaginar.

Favourite songs? The title track, She's So Fine, Love Walked In and Until My Dying Day.
