Bill Bruford (William Scott Bruford, Sevenoaks, Kent, 17 de mayo de 1949) es un baterista británico conocido por su estilo fuerte, preciso y polirrítmico, y por haber participado en tres importantes grupos de rock progresivo: Yes, King Crimson y Genesis. Bruford reside en Surrey Hills (Reino Unido).
Turbulence is the third studio album by Yes guitarist Steve Howe, released in 1991 through Relativity Records. It is Howe's first solo release since 1979, with his band including former Yes drummer Bill Bruford and former Ultravox keyboardist Billy Currie.

PROG REVIEWER. Turbulence is Steve Howe's third solo album, and his first since The Steve Howe Album in 1979. In addition to Howe, who plays guitar and bass throughout, the primary musicians are drummer Bill Bruford and keyboardist Billy Currie. Howe composed the songs, all of which are instrumentals.
Personal life. Bruford married his wife Carolyn in March 1973; they live in Surrey. They have three children, Alex, Holly, and Jack; Alex was formerly the drummer of the indie rock band Infadels.. It was at Bruford's wedding reception where Jon Anderson met Jamie Muir, who inspired Anderson to read Autobiography of a Yogi which became the origin of Yes's double album Tales from Topographic ...
