RPWL. German neo-progressive rock band RPWL was formed in 1997 in Freising, Germany, as a Pink Floyd cover band. The band's name is a combination of the first letters of the original four members' last names: Rissettio, Postl, Wallner and Lang.
"The Way It Is" has some interesting keyboard passages from Andreas Wernthaler that don't really sound like anything Floyd ever did, and Phil Paul Rissettio's drum work is certainly more prominent than Nick Mason normally was.
