Owen Frampton (6 April 1919 – 16 September 2005) was an English art teacher. He was the father of musician Peter Frampton, and a teacher of musician David Bowie and novelist Hanif Kureishi.
Owen Frampton was an inspirational teacher who encouraged his son Peter Frampton to become a rock star and was an influence on the early career of David Bowie.

Peter Kenneth Frampton was born to Owen Frampton and Peggy (née ffitch) Frampton in Beckenham, Kent. He attended Bromley Technical High School, at which his father was a teacher and the head of the Art department. He first became interested in music when he was seven years old.
