Kenneth Stuart Stringfellow (born October 30, 1968) is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and producer. Best known for his work with The Posies, R.E.M. and the re-formed Big Star, Stringfellow's discography includes more than 200 albums.

To say that Ken Stringfellow is intense is an understatement. The co-founder of The Posies is relentlessly honest, self-critical, and he's released one of the finest under-the-radar albums of the previous year, Danzig in the Moonlight. He says it's his best work, and it's hard to disagree with him.
