Cal Solomon (full name Californication Solomon) is a character played by Paul F. Tompkins. He is a founding member of the seminal rap group The Sugar Hill Gang. He was fired from the group before their first performance or recording because he isn't very good at rapping.

Cal Solomon. Cal Solomon was first featured in an advertising segment in Laundromat. He was briefly a member of the seminal 1970s rap group The Sugarhill Gang. He was fired for various reasons (listed below), and now regrets his behaviour at that time. His current rap group is The Sugar Mountain Ensemble.
