David Garrett (nacido David Bongartz el 4 de septiembre de 1980 en Aquisgrán, Alemania Occidental) [1] es un violinista, actor y modelo, hijo del alemán Georg P. Bongartz, jurista, profesor de violín y subastador del mismo instrumento, hijo de la bailarina estadounidense Dove Garrett.
Garrett was born in Aachen to an American prima ballerina, Dove Garrett, and a German jurist, Georg Bongartz. Garrett explains that while he was performing as a child prodigy, his parents started using his mother's maiden name as his stage name.
